"Many are the plans"
Proverbs 19:21 states, "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the will of the Lord that will be established."
I can certainly attest to that.
After a busy 2018, I was hoping for a different 2019.
However, early this year, I went to my primary care doctor, who referred me to a cardiologist, who sent me to the hospital for tests.
Tests revealed a partially blocked artery in my heart.
So, in March I had an angiogram, which confirmed that, and in April an angioplasty, by which a stent was inserted to open that artery.
Because of this, 2019 has meant more rest than I expected, but not more than the Lord had planned for me.
I am thankful for the medical people who took care of me.
I am thankful for those who have stepped up to assist, especially my husband.
I am thankful for the week my sister was here.
I am thankful for the Lord's provision in all things temporal and eternal.
I am looking forward to beginning cardiac rehab May 3.
Comforts
Never forsaken, never forgotten,
Helped by the everlasting arms.
Resting on His eternal character;
Counting on His promises completely mine.
O what a Savior, precious Redeemer,
Gave all His sinless life for my sins.
Precious Redeemer, risen Lord;
Coming back soon, by me adored;
Coming back soon, by all adored.
I can certainly attest to that.
