The process we are in

The process we are in
We are learning more to compromise
We are learning more what each other values
Seeing the destruction of the tornadoes, we are learning to let go
We are learning that what we once treasured can be considered trash now
We are learning but have not learned it all yet

Moving

Moving
Many people who I know are moving or have moved this year. Some are only moving miles, some within the US, others from one country to another. The oldest one I know is a widow who is moving from California to Pennsylvania to be close to her family. Her home of many years sold in short order.
However far a person moves, there is a lot to do. May as well move far as near, then. And downsizing is a challenge.
It's almost 19 years since we moved from Illinois to California, and more than 13 years since moving into our condo.
But it isn't ours any longer. We sold it, rented it back, and are moving to Northern Kentucky in July.
Everyone who knows has asked how we feel. Let me get back to you on that.

Pain and learning from it

pain and learning from it
this has been "one of those days" but I need to remember not all my days have been or will be as full of physical pain and thank the Lord for that
