Another prayer of mine
Lord, help me see
My tasks as Your assignments
Thus as joys and undertake them
Heartily, unto You,
Remembering the prayer,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,
And acting accordingly
For Your glory and my good
Therefore there will be both
Joy here and joy there.

We adore You and implore You,
God of mercy, justice, grace,
Grant us wisdom, grant us knowledge
That we act before Your face
In the ways and in the hours
In such ways as honor Thee,
God of mercy, justice, grace,
We adore You and implore You
Make us more like Your Son,
Grant us wisdom, knowledge, strength
For this day and for its length.
Abba Father, gracious Master,
Let us serve You as is right
And when day becomes full night
May we rest in Your delight,
Abba Father, gracious Master.
