The Risk of Having a Faith Hero
Hebrews 11 is often seen as highlighting
Heroes of the faith, and so it does, but
A closer look reveals it was not the man nor the woman whose faith rendered them of note,
But the One in whom their faith rested.
How risky it is to look to a man or a woman,
However strong their faith.
Look, rather, to the One in whom they put their faith:
Safe with the Savior!
